About Us

Hi!  We are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  We love our Savior, Jesus Christ, and God, our Heavenly Father.  We blog about our lives! We live normal, though maybe a bit crazy lives, and daily we try to follow and teach our children about Christ.  We know there are many misconceptions about "the Mormons," and we want to help clear some of those up.  We love our church and want to help spread the gospel message!
We'd love to hear from you!  Join the conversations by adding your comments to our posts.  Tell us what you think!  Let us know if you have questions about what we believe or how we live our religion.

Hi!  I'm McKell.  I love to run!  I have a bit of a health nut in me, but I'm not too crazy.  We do drink a lot of green smoothies at my house.  My husband's biggest complaint is that I can never follow a recipe because I always cut things out, or add things in, trying to make it healthy.  I love to read and to learn, especially about history, human biology, and nutrition.  I love camping and hiking. I love girls nights!  I enjoy watching old movies and eating out at Cafe Rio.  I love my family!  I work full time as a stay at home mom!  I love my two, super cute kids, and my supportive husband! I LOVE family vacations!  And, I am a Mormon... :) I'm a Mormon.

Hey! I'm Jen. I am the only girl in a house full of dudes, so I like to do lots of things to counter the testosterone. I like shopping, cooking/baking, girl time, and DIY projects. I LOVE music! I umpire for high school girls' lacrosse in the spring. I stay at home full time with my children, and we like to go on lots of outings together for quality hands-on learning and fun. I like kickboxing and zumba. I have an adoring husband and three witty, beautiful little boys. Life is sweet! Yes- I'm a Mormon!

Hi!  I'm Shellie.  I'm a former elementary school teacher turned stay-at-home mom.  My domestic skills include living in a house...and that's pretty much it.  I love reading, writing, painting, checking things off my to-do list, and talking about education policy and learning theory to anyone who will listen.  I avoid exercise at all costs.  My husband is my best friend, and I think my kid is hilarious.  I'm an introvert, and I'm a Mormon. I'm a Mormon.
